If an event is cancelled, the ticket price is usually refunded. To arrange this, please contact the ticket office where you purchased the tickets.

For all events at our venues, the Düsseldorf Rheinbahn combined ticket is included in the ticket. This means that return travel to the event in 2nd class is free of charge throughout the VRR area upon presentation of the ticket.

Tickets for people with disabilities, e.g. wheelchair users, are not sold through the venue, but can be purchased directly from the relevant organiser. Come to the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA in comfort by bike, motorbike, underground, car or directly from the airport.

Directions

There are plenty of parking spaces for bicycles and motorbikes at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. The car park is located next to the roundabout, in the immediate vicinity of the arena.

You can leave your car in the car parks overnight until 10 am the following day. A parking charge applies.

It is possible to buy a parking ticket before you arrive, although this is not available for every event. You can find details of available parking tickets in the events calendar.

Motorhomes may be parked in the designated spaces in car park P1 at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA.

Parking charges vary depending on the event.

For trade fair events, both the P7 multi-storey car park and the P1 and P2 car parks are available. You can find the prices for the P1 and P2 car parks here.

For events taking place at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA, car park P7 is usually reserved for VIP guests. Parking spaces in car parks P1 and P2 cost €8 for football matches and €15 for concerts.

There is a taxi rank at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. It is situated right next to the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord tram stop on Heinz-Ingenstau-Straße.

Accessible parking spaces for people with walking difficulties are located in the P2 dedicated car park at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA.

Even after each event, the trams continue to run at regular intervals towards the city centre throughout the evening.

From the official start of admission for the respective event, you will be granted access to the building upon presentation of your tickets.

Under the Youth Protection Act, children and young people under the age of 16 may only attend events that finish after 10.00 pm if accompanied by a responsible adult. The rules may vary for individual events. Further information is available under the relevant events in the events calendar and from the respective organisers.

The availability of meet-and-greet sessions varies depending on the event. Please contact the relevant organiser for further details.

Admission is permitted throughout the duration of the event. If you are running late for an event, please proceed to the entrance as usual. Staff on site will inform you of any special arrangements.

Whether photography and video recording are permitted at an event depends on the event in question. Please contact the relevant organiser for further information.

The organisers decide whether posters, banners and similar items may be brought along. Please contact the relevant organiser for further details.

Your ticket will indicate which tier and seat you are in.

The nappy-changing facilities are gender-neutral and accessible to all visitors.

The accessible toilets are located on the promenade, near the access points to the platforms for people with reduced mobility.

Disabled parking spaces are available in the P2 dedicated car park and in the P7 multi-storey car park. Please note that different rules apply on days when Fortuna are playing. You can find more information here.

Bags and rucksacks larger than A4 size may not be taken into the ARENA. The relevant event organiser may also impose further restrictions.

On site, we offer a wide selection of food and drink stalls. You’ll find these in the walkways on all levels. The stalls open as soon as the doors open, and our staff will be serving you right through to the end of the event.

You can obtain product information at the relevant stand. Please feel free to speak to our staff on site.

As a general rule, you are permitted to bring food and drink into the venue. Please refer to the relevant event details in the events calendar for any exceptions to this rule.

Bringing your own food and drink is generally prohibited. In individual cases (e.g. where there is a medical necessity), the organiser may, in consultation with the venue operator, decide to make an exception to this rule. Please refer to our house rules for further details.

We accept all standard payment methods at the food and drink stalls in the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. Whether it’s cash, a debit or credit card, Mobile Pay or similar. There is no cash machine on site.

Police and fire service personnel are on patrol at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. First-aid rooms for the medical service are signposted on the premises. You are also welcome to speak to the stewards on site.

If you encounter any problems on site, please speak to a member of staff. The stewards, the first-aid team, the police and the fire service will be happy to help you.

The organiser of an event generally has the final say on accreditation. We would be happy to pass on your accreditation request. To do so, simply contact presse(at)d-live.de.
